Silk Road The Complete Story

Silk Road was one of the largest marketplaces on the Dark Web in 2013. It was known for illegal drugs, but the marketplace had all sorts of merchandise. The following is a great documentary about the marketplace and it's creator. It's comprehensive and gets into all the detail. There is stuff here that I never knew. It's worth the watch.

Scammers are making money. Lots of it. It involves a very complex infrastructure covering several countries, and many people. Youtuber Mark Rober, and friends, take a look at this problem and show how anyone can be scammed. Easy pray are our older folks who are very trusting and often not technically savvy.

Take 23 minutes out of your day to watch and learn. Spread the word. Talk to your older loved ones and advise them of what to look out for.

Notpetya: One of the worlds worst cyber attacks. This is cyber war. There is nothing else to call this. It may not have made national news, but it should have. Following is a link to a story on the Notpetya attack, an episode from Darknet Dairies about Notpetya, and a link to the book written about it. 

Andy Geenberg wrote both the article and the book. He tells the story that is technical to explain the cybersecurity aspects of the events and adds his story telling skills to make the story both engaging and terrifying at the same time. This is NOT fiction.
